Truth is, if there is so much malcontent with the PAP, feel free
to vote for the other party. In fact, feel free to join any
opposition parties and lend them your support if you are in a
uncontested zone.
What MM Lee said is very true. The only reason why there is any
lack of success by the opposition is that everyone has a good life
here and have no reason to support the opposition.
If there is widespead unhappiness, then will you see more people
supporting the opposition. And if PAP has really fallen short in
delivering to the people, you might even find current MPs forming
their own parties.
Do you really honestly think that being a MP gives a good life?
It's not easy, and you find most MPs' children not even considering
a path like that.
